Rock Hill has been my home since 1989, when my dad’s work as project superintendent brought my family here for the construction of the Galleria Mall.  I attended Finley Road and Rawlinson Road before graduating from Northwestern High School in 1996.

During my high school years, I cheered for four years, including at a state championship game, and studied Culinary Arts at the Career Development Center, now known as the Applied Technology Center. My experience there sparked a passion that led me to continue my education and pursue a degree in Culinary Arts. Years later, I had the privilege of raising my own children in the same school district that helped shape me.

Family has always been at the center of my life. My husband and I have a large blended family, and for many years our lives have been filled with school, coaching, practices, games, swim meets, fishing tournaments, graduations, and plenty of what I love calling “organized chaos.”

Now, we’re enjoying a new season of life with grown children and grandchildren, while still spending Friday nights under the stadium lights and Saturdays cheering on college football at Anderson University.
